That didn’t last long… I have given up on the beard. I can never seem to allocate more than two weeks to this beard project, because at some point I just feel ridiculous going outside with this monstrosity of facial hair. That point was today. In preparation of the big college football viewing day, I went out for a few items. The moment I stepped outside my door, I said to myself “Stop. Ridiculous. Fix yourself.” So I then did, as much as I could in one day, of course. So I am facial hair free again, and I can go outside with less fear.
Big schedule coming up soon. A little more details later, but, like Russ, I am a longtime wrestling fan trying to break the habit (about time!). I’ll be updating my progress as I am now five days sober, if you will, from the habit of pro wrestling. October should be easy to get through, as there is a major MMA event scheduled for every weekend in October. On October 4, we have the third CBS/EliteXC event in primetime featuring the return of Ken “The Rock” Shamrock. On October 10, Showtime tapes ShoXC live from Hammond, Indiana. We then see back-to-back UFC events on October 18 and 25. Big month for MMA, which will lead into the biggest MMA fight of all time as Brock Lesnar looks to become the only man ever to win the WWE and UFC Championships when he taked on current title holder Randy “The Natural” Couture.
