Burning Yourself

Posted by RoJo On May - 4 - 2009

Twice tonight…TWICE… I have watched the 2007 Dylan inspired biopic “I’m Not There”, with a third viewing taking place as I type this. The Ballad of a Thin Man scene is for some reason captivating. After the second viewing, I’ve been reading all about this song and it’s possible meanings and subtexts and such. Lots of varying ideas… Oh, and Heath Ledger is in this, as is Cate Blanchett. Score all around, really. Fun movie, guaranteed to be better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine~! Yeah, I said it. Sorry JZ, I bash what I will not see anyway.

Tin Caps are still doing well, first place, and shut down the Dayton Dragons pretty easily again.

Been following people on Twitter, learning and so forth…

I update so irregularly, it’s ridiculous and unnecessary…

THE BALLAD OF A THIN MAN SCENE IS ALMOST UP AGAIN~!

Plans are on for more Tin Caps baseball live on Friday vs Peoria, taping of the first Russ n’ RoJo WCW Classics Theater Monday night, and possibly not-seeing Wolverine on Wednesday (and every day for that matter).

Star Trek will be a yes, however.

BCS, SNL, etc.

Last night’s Saturday Night Live was star studded, but most importantly, it was funny. For the first time this year, SNL delivered a well rounded show that provided laughs throughout the entire 90 minutes. I suggest you visit NBC.com some point soon to catch what you may have missed.

New film “Max Payne” won the weekend box office race, taking in $18 million. Oliver Stone’s “W.” came in fourth, getting beat by “Payne”, “Secret Life of Bees”, and “Beverly Hills Chihuahua.” With a weak opening of only $3 million, teen comedy “Sexdrive” came in ninth on the weekend.

The Chicago Bears finally held onto a win this week, as they ran up the score on the Vikings. Unfortunately, running up the score was barely enough, as the Vikings didn’t do too badly on offense, either. We came out with a win though, and for at least a few hours, the Bears are in first place.
BCS Standings were released today. Number one and two were obvious, but look who came in at No. 20! Ball State is a BCS buster this year, kids.
